Returning Graded Papers

Because of the large number of students in CS 280, we prefer to use batch return to return your homework.  Batch return is when papers are in a pile for anyone to sort through, i.e. there's no privacy or security.  The papers will be sorted alphabetically and divided into several piles, so the opportunity to examine others' papers will be minimal.  However, you may prefer to have your paper returned directly to you and not in the batch.

To clarify the situation, you must do one of two things:

Either 1. Sign and return a waiver indicating that your paper may be returned via the batch method.

Or       2. Write 'PRIVATE RETURN' directly below your name on each assignment you submit.

If you choose option 1, your paper will be returned via the batch method in class (if unclaimed in class, it will be left in the undergraduate CS office in 303 Upson).  If you choose option 2, the staff of CS 280 will directly handle the private returns of graded assignments and exams, either in class, or for pickup during office hours.
